Principal Software Engineer-Java

We are seeking an experienced, talented, self-motivated Principal Software Engineer who has a successful track record designing, building and deploying highly scalable, fault-tolerant enterprise Java back ends. This person will join a team responsible for designing and implementing new cloud-based services. This is a technical leadership position within a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment where you will have the opportunity to rotate through research and development, mainline development, and sustaining environments while working with our offshore partners.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of Java software development experience, including at least 5 years of technical leadership within Java enterprise application teams
  • Familiarity with current Java Enterprise frameworks and best practices
  • Proven technical leadership skills
  • Strong skills in Object Oriented design and implementation
  • Recent mid to back-end development experience within a JavaEE-compliant application server
  • Working experience with Agile Scrum

Senior Software QA Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Software QA Engineer to join a hot software startup. This position is ideally suited for a talented, hands-on, energetic person who has a track record of success as a lead QA engineer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, create and execute white-box, black-box and integration test scripts and test plans.
  • Adhere to and recommend improvements in the QA process and methodology
  • Work with QA team, software developers and product managers to ensure the quality of the product.
  • Run acceptance tests, verify defects and imbalances reported by outside groups, and validate bug fixes.
  • Monitor the bug tracking database, track all their bugs, and follow-up on progress of their completion. Accurate, clear, reproducible results should be included in bug reports
  • Ability to develop QA schedules and a proven track record of consistently delivering to schedule

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of QA experience, preferably supporting multi-tiered web enabled applications and systems
  • Expert experience with white-box testing, black-box testing and integration testing
  • Expert experience writing test scripts, test plans and working with project teams
  • Experience with Windows, Virtualization, and Agile Scrum a plus
  • Some experience with automation testing and automation tools a plus
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Strong problem solving skills

User Experience Designer

We’re looking for a Designer to create elegant, intuitive user interfaces. You will have a significant impact on the creative direction of our product lines. The Designer will own the entire design pipeline, from working with developers and product managers to establish requirements for product, to design and iterate on interaction flows and individual features, and to the creation of final assets and documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for compelling customer experiences, with a desire to learn from user research and user feedback to improve designs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design or modify existing user interface designs for upcoming product releases by collaborating with cross-functional teams that include marketing, support, engineers, product managers, and QA.
  • Act as an internal consultant providing business and technical guidance. Work with the Development Team, Content Developers, Customers and other stakeholders to apply best UX practices within an Agile environment.
  • Maintains consistent standards to the “look and feel” for Web presence. Communicates with technical and non-technical staff to ensure full integration and goal attainment.
  • Stays abreast of changing UX design technologies, as well as corporate, organization, and industry standards to ensure leading-edge interpretation and execution of design applications.
  • Incorporates the Intronis UX Standards and Templates into work products and application UI design. Ensures style sheets, images and icons are applied correctly.
  • Provide support for communication and enhancement of standards including style guides, patterns, and behavior clarifications.
  • Turn product requirements and customer feedback into design specification documents consisting of conceptual models, wireframes, interaction flow diagrams and detailed feature descriptions.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience as a UX designer
  • Experience in developing style guides, wireframes, story boarding, user journey, and work flows. Web applications design is a plus
  • Experience with agile scrum development process
  • Knowledge of HTML skills and front-end web development experience
  • Technically proficient with using Photoshop, InDesign, Balsamiq, Visio, Axure or other design applications

Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager will drive the product marketing strategies and activities necessary for growing market share, and market awareness. In close collaboration with the Product Management team, you will help research and identify new market opportunities, influence product direction, lead enablement efforts to accelerate effective selling, and work with marketing execution teams on content development, product launches and demand generation activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product-level competitive analysis and develop competitive positioning.
  • Become a subject matter expert/thought leader to create awareness and preference for Intronis products and solutions.
  • Work with product management to influence the product roadmap based on changing market dynamics and new opportunities in the SaaS cloud storage market.
  • Act as the core “interpreter” of product features and functions to make them accessible for prospect development, translate features into core business benefits and develop content that articulates how our Partners will be more successful as a result.
  • Work cross-functionally to map the “buyers journey” for each target segment and then provide guidance and content to engage prospects through each step.
  • Provide direct “customer and potentials” input and feedback to influence product marketing requirements for current and future products, extensions, and enhancements. Help translate the “voice of the customer” for the organization.
  • Drive efforts with public relations, analyst relations, and events teams on product launch related activities and ensure that marketing and sales/support activities communicate key features and benefits.
  • Attend selected industry conferences to maintain awareness of market conditions, products/services, and industry trends. Share findings regularly with the product management/sales teams.
  • Understand the multi touch benefits of new and existing product features and how they fit into small businesses that buy through the IT channel.
  • Take ownership with Partner Management for creating a Partner Advisory Council designed to engage a consistent set of partner in strategy, product planning, and feedback sessions.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience in product marketing or outbound marketing role preferably with a SaaS company.
  • Exceptional writing skills that can be applied and adapted across traditional and digital mediums, such as sales documents, web copy, video presentations, product documentation
  • Experience at a Channel focused company is a substantial plus
  • Experience with monetization planning and strategy for software as a service (SaaS).
  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to draw business relevant inferences from data
  • Results-oriented approach, ability to take calculated risks
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market dynamics
