Systems Engineer

Intronis is seeking a talented and self-motivated Systems Engineer to join our production operations team. This is a great opportunity to be a member of a team responsible for maintaining and scaling a multi-site high-capacity storage network in the fast growing cloud market. This position plays a pivotal role in assisting and maintaining our network infrastructure, installing systems and servers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security of our network.

Responsibilities:

      Director of IT & Operations

      We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Operations Director to further extend our infrastructure environment and who will design and deliver a solid IT foundation for our business. You will lead a 24×7 team of professionals that manage and scale our data center footprint, network, database, storage and backup services to proactively meet Intronis’ evolving business needs. You will define and implement strategies that include: secure operations, monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, vendor management, compliance and cost effective use of resources. This position requires experience running a comprehensive IT Infrastructure.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Direct a 24×7 team that provide administration, advanced support and operational management of datacenter facilities (including power, HVAC, rack space), network (firewall, load balancer routing), database platforms based on Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL and storage platforms including EMC, NetApp, Tintri & Pure.
      • Develop strategies and support plans to consistently exceed service levels in a highly dynamic and fast changing application environment; proactively identify resource gaps and propose mitigation plans
      • Create and execute lifecycle management plans to ensure that managed services are high performing, supported, secure and efficiently operating
      • Ensure comprehensive monitoring including system health, resource utilization, transaction performance, data loading, backup/restore functionality
      • Implement effective problem management processes to identify and proactively remediate incident trends
      • Work with engineering to implement optimization and automation to increase overall company productivity
      • Drive data center migration and implementation initiatives
      • Lead annual strategic planning, tactical operation planning, and the development of service improvement, security, compliance and contingency operation plans

      • Forecasts demand for data center, network, database and storage capacity based on operating trends, organic corporate growth and project needs; proactively propose service improvement plans as necessary

        Salesforce Systems Administrator

        Our continued growth has resulted in an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce System Admin who will play a vital role in the management of Intronis’ Salesforce.com database and the development, management and distribution of its corporate reporting.

        This is a key role in maintaining and improving business process best practices within Salesforce.com. As the primary administrator and internal champion for Salesforce.com, you will identify, develop, manage and monitor the corporate growth strategy of the database to ensure the functionality meets growing requirements for a unified platform for sales, management, account management, technical support, operations, marketing and product management.

        Responsibilities:

        • Develop and improve reports, dashboards, and supporting process flows to provide reliable, accurate, and timely visibility into our Salesforce.com data.

          Job Description
          The Controller is responsible for managing the accounting function which includes ownership of the monthly close process, maintenance of accounting records, and development and implementation of a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

          Responsibilities:

          • Ownership of monthly close process, including account reconciliations, accruals, revenue recognition, debt and equity accounting.
          • Preparation of bank debt covenant reporting
          • Management of internal and external financial reporting and regulatory compliance with reporting and accounting regulations (GAAP)
          • Assist with management of the external audit and tax relationships with outside firms
          • Development of accounting policies and procedures, the establishment and maintenance of internal controls/processes and implementation of SOX compliance programs.
          • Participate in updating the company’s billing system, moving over to an industry-leading SaaS application
          • Requirements:

            • BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting ; MBA a plus

            Linux Administrator

This role requires prior experience using Linux systems, such as CFEngine, CentOS, or Red Hat and monitoring tools, such as Nagios.

                    Responsibilities:

                    • Manage bank activity, including preparing related journal entries and reconciling bank accounts
                    • Reconcile various balance sheet general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
                    • Prepare journal entries using NetSuite
                    • Oversee customer credit card processing ensuring all activity is recorded in the company’s proprietary billing system in a timely manner

                    We are seeking an experienced, talented, self-motivated software engineer who has a successful track record utilizing .NET, C#, Object Oriented design and implementation and Web Services. Working closely with a team of analysts, developers, QA and other business resources you will be continuously improving and enhancing the primary interface for our growing customer base. We work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to rotate through research and development, mainline development and sustaining environments while working with our offshore partners.

                    Requirements:

                    • 3-6 years of commercial software development experience, including at least 3 years using C# and .NET in a team environment
                    • Strong skills in Object Oriented design and implementation
                    • Solid design skills
                    • Experience with .NET Remoting and WCF
                    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
                    • Desire to learn and develop new skills
                    • BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline

                    Nice to haves:

                    • Experience with web services (SOAP and REST)
                    • Good working knowledge of XML and related technologies
                    • Experience with Relational Data Modeling, SQL
                    • Experience with virtualization product/platforms such as VMware/vCenter, Hyper-V, and/or VirtualBox and their APIs
