Corporate Trainer

This is an opportunity for a sharp, self-motivated Trainer to join a software company that has a great product, real customers, growing revenue and cool technology.

Intronis provides internal and client-facing training materials that include eLearning, product certification, webinars and instructor-led training. As the Corporate Trainer you will develop and deliver and evealuate a wide variety of training and development programs on targeted topics, using adult learning theory and accelerated learning techniques. The successful candidate will enjoy working independently, enjoy the startup environment and will have proven success engaging with stakeholders in the training and development process

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement new training programs including needs assessment, curriculum design, training strategies and program delivery utilizing the most appropriate technology.
  • Use multi-media training that included video, on-line, and social media tools.
  • Evaluate and research new technologies and emerging training issues.
  • Evaluate, design and adjust curriculum as well as the processes associated with that curriculum, to meet identified business needs.
  • Deliver and/or provide support in the delivery of training throughout the organization.
  • Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of training experience that demonstrates a strong background in creating training programs with multi-media technologies.
    • Excellent time management, organizational and critical thinking skills.
    • Proficient with a variety of HTML and XML editing tools to design and deliver technical content through online help and knowledge-based repositories using tools such as Adobe RoboHelp, and MadCap Flare.
    • Experience creating instructional video demonstrations and training
    • Experience creating and delivering online training using tools like Camtasia, Captivate, And GoToMeeting.
    • Proven success using blended learning techniques and technology.
    • Familiarity with hosted applications and SaaS environment is a plus.

          Director of IT & Operations

          We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Operations Director to further extend our infrastructure environment and who will design and deliver a solid IT foundation for our business. You will lead a 24×7 team of professionals that manage and scale our data center footprint, network, database, storage and backup services to proactively meet Intronis’ evolving business needs. You will define and implement strategies that include: secure operations, monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, vendor management, compliance and cost effective use of resources. This position requires experience running a comprehensive IT Infrastructure.

          Primary Responsibilities:

          • Direct a 24×7 team that provide administration, advanced support and operational management of datacenter facilities (including power, HVAC, rack space), network (firewall, load balancer routing), database platforms based on Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL and storage platforms including EMC, NetApp, Tintri & Pure.
          • Develop strategies and support plans to consistently exceed service levels in a highly dynamic and fast changing application environment; proactively identify resource gaps and propose mitigation plans
          • Create and execute lifecycle management plans to ensure that managed services are high performing, supported, secure and efficiently operating
          • Ensure comprehensive monitoring including system health, resource utilization, transaction performance, data loading, backup/restore functionality
          • Implement effective problem management processes to identify and proactively remediate incident trends
          • Work with engineering to implement optimization and automation to increase overall company productivity
          • Drive data center migration and implementation initiatives
          • Lead annual strategic planning, tactical operation planning, and the development of service improvement, security, compliance and contingency operation plans
          • Provide strategic and operational leadership for implementing programs and processes
          • Forecasts demand for data center, network, database and storage capacity based on operating trends, organic corporate growth and project needs; proactively propose service improvement plans as necessary
          • Negotiate pricing, contracts and service level agreements with outside vendors
          • Provide escalated support for problems and issues. Communicate status of problems and solutions to senior stakeholders
          • Demonstrates flexibility and diplomacy to ensure the effective resolution of competing demands and priorities that are reflective of sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills
          • Required Skills:

            • BS/BA in a technical discipline.
            • 10+ years’ experience managing data center operations teams supporting mission critical environments.
            • Experience working with and deploying telecom and network providers.
            • Experience with networking, connectivity standards, rack and cabling infrastructure as well as power management/monitoring.
            • Strong expertise in database and storage technologies
            • Experience defining and managing transition from project release to operational support using a criteria and quality-based approach
            • Thorough understanding of operational support processes, excellent business acumen and ability to direct team in dissecting and diagnosing complex problems.

            Linux Administrator

            Intronis is one of the leading and fastest growing providers of cloud backup and recovery to partner resellers and managed service providers. Delivering its service to over 6000 customers worldwide through a network of over 1500 partners, Intronis sells a software service that allows organizations to back up their data and their clients’ data to Intronis’ remote locations.             As a member of the Intronis systems team, you will work on a multi-site, high-capacity storage network running our Intronis Cloud Backup and Recovery product. This position plays a pivotal role, as you are part of the team responsible to scale the infrastructure to support fast growth. This role requires prior experience using Linux systems, such as CFEngine, CentOS, or Red Hat and monitoring tools, such as Nagios.

            Responsibilities:

            • Support and scale server infrastructure for development, QA and production
            • Member of team managing 24-7/always-on, multi-site infrastructure
            • Ensure proper security, monitoring, alerting and reporting for the infrastructure
            • Assist with capacity planning for all aspects of the infrastructure
            • Ensure that all projects and infrastructure are properly documented

                  Staff Accountant

                  Intronis, a leading SaaS (Software as a Service) provider of world-class, cloud-based data protection solutions to the IT channel, has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Based in Chelmsford, MA, this newly created position will report to the Corporate Controller.

                  Responsibilities:

                  • Manage bank activity, including preparing related journal entries and reconciling bank accounts
                  • Reconcile various balance sheet general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
                  • Prepare journal entries using NetSuite
                  • Oversee customer credit card processing ensuring all activity is recorded in the company’s proprietary billing system in a timely manner
                  • Reconcile corporate credit card expense statements to receipts, organizing and ensuring receipts are obtained for all charges from employees, verifying compliance with company policies, and importing the monthly credit card activity to the finance system
                  • Analyze and document period versus period financial changes
                  • Draft and maintain processes and procedures documentation using MS Word
                  • Participate in audits and prepare related schedules
                  • Support the establishment and accounting for international subsidiaries
                  • Assist with long-term business system projects that involve working with multiple departments
