Director of Software Engineering

Linux Administrator – Junior

As a member of the Intronis systems team, the Linux Administrator – Junior will work on a multi-site, high-capacity storage network running our Intronis Cloud Backup and Recovery product. This position plays a pivotal role, as you are part of the team responsible to scale the infrastructure to support fast growth. This role requires prior experience using Linux systems, such as CFEngine, CentOS or Red Hat and monitoring tools, such as Nagios.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and scale server infrastructure for development, QA and production
  • Active member of team managing 24-7/always-on, multi-site infrastructure
  • Ensure proper security, monitoring, alerting and reporting for the infrastructure
  • Assist with capacity planning for all aspects of the infrast
  • Ensure that all projects and infrastructure are properly documented
  • Design, implement and operate a scalable and reliable system infrastructure supporting fast growth
  • Perform daily maintenance activities
  • Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements:

  • Experience with Kickstart and PXE for remote installations
  • Experience with Red Hat and CentOS Linux servers
  • Working knowledge of Apache, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, NTP, NFS
  • Solid fundamentals in Linux operating systems and prior experience managing production systems
  • Working knowledge of firewalls, load balancers and switches
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong configuration management tools experience (CFEngine or Puppet) a plus

Partner Management Specialist

The Partner Management Specialist will play a critical role on our new Partner Success team. You will be the trusted advisor to our partners, developing programs and tools aimed at helping retention and increased usage. Ensure partners success through constant communication and education on both Intronis’ current and future technology. You will be responsible for creating processes for efficient hand offs and developing metrics and analysis that reflect improvements for our partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with our partners to ensure partner success
  • Inform our partners of new products, functions/features to help increase renewals and upselling
  • Maintain a highly interactive relationship with partners to achieve ongoing communications and initiatives
  • Work with partners and internal departments on contracts, renewals, upgrades/downgrades and cancellation to existing agreements
  • Proactively manage partner performance and work with appropriate internal resources to establish necessary steps and processes to correct and improve results
  • Conduct health check on partners to ensure continual success in our partnership and to prevent churn
  • Communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Function as partner advocate in terms of issue resolution and product feedback
  • Ensure partner satisfaction by resolving and responding to partner issues and requests
  • Perform onboarding activities that include setup of partner account information, integration with partner tools (PSA and RMM) as well as training partners for successful tier 1 technical support and sales-enablement

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2 – 3 years of experience in a client services or professional services role.
  • Organized and self-motivated with a proven track record in customer support.
  • Able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
  • Able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

Marketing Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will play a critical role on our new Data Operations team, sitting at the intersection of marketing and sales. They will work closely with the sales team on devising their daily calling strategies, gain feedback on what’s working and not working, and track productivity and efficiency metrics. The Data Analyst will ensure that the marketing programs are delivering the right number of high quality leads and process them efficiently to the sales team for follow up and closing in alignment with the go-to-market strategy. Further, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the overall health and growth of the contacts database to support the marketing nurturing and sales calling strategies.

As a newly created position, the Data Analyst will be responsible for creating a process for efficient hand off of leads from marketing to sales, and testing processes, all while devising the metrics and analysis that will showcase the value of the structured database driven calling approach.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a structured calling strategy to provide the sales team with the right number of daily qualified contacts to call, while creating a closed feedback loop between the demand gen and calling teams.
  • Manage the segmenting, cleansing, and maintenance of the contacts database to support the marketing nurturing and sales calling strategies.
  • Develop reporting structure to provide metrics and analysis to show the effectiveness of the data strategy.
  • Work with the marketing team to scale contacts Database through inbound and content marketing strategies.
  • Identify appropriate list purchase vehicles, procure lists, import and append in concert with nurturing strategy.
  • Manage (or execute) Spider/Scraping activities. Optimize program to ensure contact development efforts are delivering right contacts at the right pace to the marketing and sales funnel.
  • Develop and implement a Database segmentation strategy.
  • Maintain the overall health of the contact database including de-duping, cleansing, and appending.
  • Work with SalesForce/Marketo to ensure right data is captured and right data is presented to sales to support calling efforts. Devise/develop new tooling as required.
  • Create lead scrubbing process to ensure best leads are processed rapidly and poor quality leads are removed or remediated.
  • Create structured calling plans for sales AE’s to follow each day.
  • Create dashboard of core KPIs to report on effectiveness of database efforts. Includes database health, database growth, sales effectiveness, sales efficiencies, among others to be determined as part of the above plans.

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2 – 3 years of experience in a sales operations or marketing operations role.
  • A deep analytical mindset to see the data behind business problems. Ability to develop data driven solutions.
  • Big thinker who is excited by the prospect of a blank canvass to create a function and process from the ground floor.
  • Experience with Marketo and SalesForce or other CRM marketing automation platform.
  • PHP or other scripting language a plus.

Customers are at the heart of all we do. The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing exceptional customer support to Intronis’ growing base of partners and end users. This position will interact with customers via phone, email and chat as means of providing an enjoyable customer experience. While a large part of this position will be troubleshooting clients’ technical issues as they arise and as they relate to usage of the Intronis platform, the position also entails updating relevant internal and external training documentation, coaching junior technical support specialists, answering account set up questions, and collaborating across departments to solve a wide variety of customer concerns.

Skills Required:

Windows operating system/networking knowledge – be familiar with all versions of MS Windows from XP through 2012 (Standard Edition) as well as basic networking such as Mapped Drives. Great problem solving skills in different windows environments, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer service experience, and ability to stick with an issue until the root cause is identified and resolved. Extreme patience required when working through items of great importance to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support for Intronis partners and customers
  • Escalate and triage any incoming issues that are non-standard
  • Assist with developing training materials for our various stakeholders
  • Accurate and consistent use of our ticketing system
  • “Own” client issues/tickets from first contact to completion

We are seeking an experienced, talented, self-motivated software engineer who has a successful track record utilizing .NET, C#, Object Oriented design and implementation and Web Services. Working closely with a team of analysts, developers, QA and other business resources you will be continuously improving and enhancing the primary interface for our growing customer base. We work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to rotate through research and development, mainline development and sustaining environments while working with our offshore partners.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience, including at least 3 years using C# and .NET in a team environment.
  • Strong skills in Object Oriented design and implementation
  • Solid design skills
  • Experience with .NET Remoting and WCF
  • Proven ability to write technical artifacts (whitepapers as well as designs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to learn and develop new skills
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline

Nice to haves:
