Intronis launches new account management portal
On November 15, 2004, Intronis Technologies launched its new account management portal. The account management portal follows the September 2004 introduction of Intronis’s redesigned website. The portal allows existing eSureIT online backup service customers to change pricing plans, update billing information and view more information about their backups as well as add subaccounts and download plugins. Current eSureIT Partners can now view information about their signups, update contact information and download eSureIT marketing materials. Intronis expects to add even more features to the portal in the coming weeks and months.
Intronis launches new website and interactive demo
On September 15, 2004, Intronis Technologies launched its completely redesigned website, highlighting its eSureIT online backup service. The website's content has been upgraded with new information and has been designed for easier access to information about eSureIT. Over the coming weeks, Intronis will augment the site with additional information, including a new user friendly knowledgebase and an expanded Partner Program section. As per part of the website launch, Intronis also introduced its eSureIT interactive flash demo. The presentation highlights many of the reasons why businesses and individuals need to backup and the advantages of online backup as well as many of eSureIT's features. Part 3 of the presentation demonstrates the eSureIT software itself and shows how easy it is to backup and recover data.
Intronis releases eSureIT version 2.2.3
Intronis Technologies today released version 2.2.3 of its eSureIT online backup service software. eSureIT version 2.2.3 adds new features that make backing up and restoring valuable data even easier. New features include the ability to add custom file extensions when creating backup sets and searching the file names and paths of backed up files for easier retrieval. Also enhanced are revision management tools. Revision rules can now be run manually, without running a backup and the option to store only the most recent version of each file has been added. This new revision rule functionality will help eSureIT users to manage their storage space usage. Also part of eSureIT v. 2.2.3 are new backup and restore options which make backups more robust and give the user greater flexibility in backing up and restoring their data.
Intronis introduces two new eSureIT pricing plans
Intronis Technologies announces two new pricing plans for its eSureIT online backup service. Introduced due to popular demand, the new pricing plans include both a Home User Plan and a Business Security Plan. The new Home User Plan II costs $19.95 per month and includes 4 GB of storage space. Additional storage space is $4.95 per month for 500 MB. The new Business Security Plan I costs $24.95 per month and includes 5 GB of storage space. Additional storage space is also $4.95 per month for 500 MB. The Business Security Plan I also includes free Microsoft Exchange and SQL plugins and gives the user the ability to add additional computers to their account. eSureIT's existing plans include the Home User Plan I ($9.95 per month for 1 GB), Business Security Plan II ($49.95 per month for 10 GB) and Business Security Plan III ($199.95 per month for 50 GB). All eSureIT pricing plans come with a free 14 Day trial.
Intronis extends network infrastructure
Intronis Technologies today announced the expansion of its network to Toronto, Ontario Canada. All customers' data will now be backed up and stored in two data centers, located hundreds of miles apart, for enhanced security. Like Intronis's primary storage facility, located in Northern New Jersey, the Toronto facility has state-of-the-art security features such as biometric controlled access, advanced fire suppression control systems, backup generators, multiple redundant connections to the Internet and 24/7 monitoring.
Intronis hires Hammerhead Advertising
Intronis announces the hiring of Hoboken, New Jersey based Hammerhead Advertising to develop marketing initiatives for its eSureIT online backup service. Hammerhead's efforts will focus on expanding eSureIT's presence in the small and medium sized market for data backup and disaster recovery services.
Intronis releases eSureIT version 2.2
Today, Intronis Technologies released version 2.2 of its eSureIT software and online backup service. Version 2.2 is a significant upgrade over the previous eSureIT version 2.1.6. New features of eSureIT 2.2 include the Revision Rule Wizard which allows users to create their own rules to govern how many versions of each file are stored. This new feature will allow users unprecedented power of the amount of storage space that they use. Also included in eSureIT v. 2.2 is expanded user help files as well as the eSureIT Microsoft Outlook plugin which allows users to backup their Outlook .pst files. Along with the new eSureIT software version, Intronis introduces a comprehensive Installation and User Guide which can be downloaded for free by any eSureIT user.
Intronis introduces customer referral program
On April 18, 2004, Intronis Technologies introduced its customer referral program. Any time an existing eSureIT customer refers a new online backup service customer with the same or higher priced service plan, the existing customer will receive a credit for a free month of service. If the new customer purchases a lower priced service plan, then the existing customer will receive a credit for the new customer's monthly base price. Existing customers will be credited on their next monthly bill immediately following the free trial period of the new customer.
