Intronis Expands Headquarters, Relocates
On October 16, 2006 Intronis Technologies relocated its global headquarters to 180 Sylvan Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The move was part of a strategic effort to expand the company's growth capabilities.
Having tripled in staff size and exponentially increased its customer base in 2006, Intronis required a new location to reflect the strength and growth of the company. At approximately 4x the size of the previous location, the new Intronis offices proved to be an optimal solution.
Occupying the second level of a state-of-the-art building, the new headquarters were custom-designed to meet the needs of individual associates as well as broader business requirements. The innovative floor plan features an open design, connecting all work areas to encourage communication and create a highly collaborative environment. Increases in customer service stations, equipment setup and storage space, and multi-media conference rooms have also been provided.
"The new offices feature the latest technology with room to continuously update our equipment and expand our capabilities," said Intronis Technologies CEO Samuel Gutmann. "This is crucial in staying ahead of industry innovations, which allows us to continue to provide our customers with superior service and the most efficient and affordable off-site data backup products on the market."
Intronis releases eSureIT version 2.3
Today, Intronis Technologies released the next version of its eSureIT online backup software. Version 2.3 has numerous enhancements and new features that further allow our users to customize and control their backups. Significant new features of eSureIT 2.3 include multithreading, which makes backups faster, bandwidth throttling, which makes other Internet activity faster, as well as the ability to restore entire groups of files from a specified date.
- Multithreading will allow the eSureIT software to process (compress, encrypt and transmit) multiple files at the same time therefore significantly reducing the amount of time to complete a backup.
- Bandwidth Throttling will allow users to control and limit the amount of bandwidth that eSureIT uses. By limiting the amount of bandwidth available to eSureIT, users can continue to allow eSureIT to backup files without any noticeable impact on their internet connectivity.
- While eSureIT has always had features that allow users to restore files from a specific date, eSureIT v 2.3 will have the option to restore all of their files from a specific date in one simple step.
Microsoft SQL Plugin now supports SQL Server 2005
Beginning March 1, 2006, Intronis Technologies' eSureIT Online Backup Service will now support Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Intronis initially released its Microsoft SQL Server 2000 plugin in November 2004. After months of development and testing the SQL Server plugin is now compatible with Microsoft's latest offering, SQL Server 2005. Existing eSureIT customers can download the SQL Server plugin by logging into their account at https://my.intronis.com and Clicking the "Downloads" link.
