Q: What type of Partner Programs do you offer?

A. We offer two basic types of partner programs: Referral Partner and Reseller Partners.

Q: How does the Referral Partner program work?

A. When you sign up to be a Referral Partner, you will select a Partner Code. When a customer that you have referred signs up for our eSureIT online backup service, they will submit your Partner Code during the signup process. Alternatively, we can provide a link for you to put on your website that will automatically fill in the partner code or an HTML signup form that will allow your customers to sign up directly from your website. You will receive a monthly commission on each paying customer that you have referred and whose account is in good standing. We take care of all customer service and billing functions.

Q: How does the Reseller Partner program work?

A. With the Reseller Partner program, you will sign up customers for our online backup service and you will bill your customers for the use of our service. In turn, we will bill you monthly for each active customer that you have signed up. You will be able to set the end user pricing. Typically, Reseller Partners will handle first tier customer service. Reseller Partners also have the option of having the eSureIT online backup service re-branded to a name of your choice.

Q: Which plan is better for me?

A. With both programs you will receive recurring monthly revenue. If you do not want to handle any billing or customer service functions and just want to receive a monthly commission on each account then the Referral Partner program is better for you. If you would prefer to bill your customers directly, would like the opportunity to set the prices that end users will pay, or would like to offer your own branded online backup service then the Reseller Partner program is a better choice.

Q: Can I switch programs once I am already signed up?

A. Yes, you can switch programs. In fact, many Partners start out as a Referral Partner and then switch to the Reseller program as they increase the number of users that they refer/sign up. To switch programs, please contact us at partners@intronis.com or call us at 800-569-0155.

Q: Is there a setup fee to become a Partner?

A. No. There is no setup fee to become either a Referral Partner or a Reseller Partner. The only setup fee we charge is to re-brand the eSureIT software. Top

Q: How do I keep track of the number of customers that I have referred or signed up?

A. You can view information about the accounts that you have referred or signed up at the Partner web portal at https://my.intronis.com. This information is real-time and you can view this information whenever and as often as you like.

Q: Can I have my own branded backup service?

A. Absolutely! With the Reseller Program, we offer you the option of re-branding the online backup service. End users still backup to our Intronis servers but the software and user documentation would be in a product name of your choice. We charge a one time nominal setup fee to re-brand the eSureIT service. For more information about re-branding, please contact us at partners@intronis.com or call us at 800-569-0155.

Q: Do you license the backend backup software so that I can run a backup service using my own equipment?

A. Yes, we are now licensing Backup Maestro, our backend backup software. Backup Maestro is a complete turnkey solution that allows your end user customers to backup directly to your own equipment. With Intronis's Backup Maestro, you can administer new customer signups, perform account management and have advanced reporting functionality. In addition, we offer our Backup Maestro billing module which can perform automatic recurring billing by both credit card and invoice. Backup Maestro is currently available for Linux based servers (the client software is for all versions of Microsoft Windows). Q: How do I update my own account and contact information?

A. You can update your account information at any time by going to the Partner web portal at https://my.intronis.com and logging in to your account.

Q: Can you provide me with marketing materials to help sell eSureIT?

A. Yes, we can provide you with printed eSureIT brochures or with the electronic PDF version. We can also provide white papers and other information about the eSureIT online backup service. Many of these resources are available to be downloaded at the Partner web portal at https://my.intronis.com.
