Q: How does the Reseller Partner program work?
A. With the Reseller Partner program, you will sign up customers for our online backup service and you will bill your customers for the use of our service. In turn, we will bill you monthly for each active customer that you have signed up. You will be able to set the end user pricing. Typically, Reseller Partners will handle first tier customer service. Reseller Partners also have the option of having the eSureIT online backup service re-branded to a name of your choice.
TopQ: As a Reseller Partner, what prices do I pay to Intronis for each account?
A. You will pay Intronis’s list prices (the prices listed on this website) for each type of account, less a discount. The discount that you receive depends on a number of factors including the amount of customers that you have signed up and the amount of customer service that you will provide. TopQ: How do my customers signup for the online backup service?
A. If you are doing the eSureIT installation for your clients, then you can sign up customers from the Intronis website (https://my.intronis.com/signup/). When you signup a customer, you will enter in your Partner Code. Alternatively, if your clients will signup themselves, we can provide a link for you to put on your website that will link to our signup page and automatically fill in the partner code. We can also provide you with an HTML signup form that will allow your customers to sign up directly from your website. Once you are signed up as a Partner, the customized link and the HTML code can be downloaded at the Partner web portal at https://my.intronis.com.
TopQ: How often will I be billed for the customers that I have signed up?
A. As a Reseller Partner, you will be billed once a month for all of the customers that you have signed up. Payment terms are typically net 15 days.
TopQ: Can I set the prices that the end users will pay for the eSureIT online backup service?
A. As a Reseller Partner, you have complete discretion to set the prices that your customers will pay for the eSureIT online backup service.
TopQ: Can I have my own branded backup service?
A. Absolutely! With the Reseller Program, we offer you the option of re-branding the product. End users still backup to our Intronis servers but the software and user documentation would be in a product name of your choice. We charge a one time nominal setup fee to re-brand the eSureIT service. For more information about re-branding, please contact us at partners@intronis.com or call us at 800-569-0155.
TopQ: How long does the re-brand process take?
A. Once you have provided us with a name, logo and contact information of the re-branded service, it typically takes 1-2 weeks for us to re-brand the software and the user documentation and to have your own branded online backup service up and running!
TopQ: What is the process for becoming a Reseller Partner?
A. Please email us partners@intronis.com or call us at 800-569-0155 if you are interested in becoming a Reseller Partner. We will provide you with our Reseller Partner Agreement. Once you have signed this Agreement, you can begin signing up customers to the eSureIT online backup service.
